   Disconnect the harnesses at the Rear Chassis Control Unit. Inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture intrusion, or bent terminals. Clean with contact cleaner and apply dielectric grease if necessary.

   If the diagnostic checks revealed damaged or shorted wires, repair the affected sections of the wiring harness. Replace connector pigtails if the damage is too close to the plug to ensure proper insulation and connectivity.

   Test for Interference

   Ensure no aftermarket or incompatible devices (like GPS units or radios) are spliced into the CAN network improperly, as these can introduce electrical noise and drive up the error counter.
