John Deere 520715.05 – CLC (Cab Load Center / Cab Module): Cab Fan For Cab Positive Pressure Low Amp Draw

The system has detected that the supply voltage or current draw for the cab's pressurization blower motor is too low, indicating an open circuit, a poor ground, or a failed blower motor.

   Check the ground connection located in the cab, rear right (approximately 15 cm above the floor, just in front of the rear right corner post).

   Test continuity by disconnecting the blower motor and checking between connector PIN B and chassis ground. Resistance greater than 1 Ohm indicates a bad ground or open circuit.

   Load test the power supply at PIN A (positive supply from Cab Control Unit Pin J3-42). With ignition and blower on, voltage should be 11.5V to 12V. Missing or dropping voltage indicates the CLC module requires professional diagnosis.

   Remove operator seat

   Remove the operator seat from the cab to gain adequate access.

   Remove interior covers

   Remove the rear interior covers and trim panels.

   Remove cabin air filter

   Take out the cabin air filter.

   Remove air duct screws

   Inside the filter housing, locate and remove the two screws securing the air duct.

   Remove air duct cover

   Remove the cover of the left air duct.

   Access blower motor

   You will now have access to the pressurizer blower motor. (Note: On certain 6R configurations, you may also need to unhook the handbrake cable to create enough clearance to pull the motor out).

   Replace blower motor

   Disconnect the electrical harness, swap in the new blower motor assembly, and reassemble the housing and seat in reverse order.

8. 8

   Clear fault codes

   Clear the fault codes via the cab display.
