John Deere 520715.06 – CLC (Cab Load Center) or RLC (Roof Load Center): Pressurizer Blower Motor Current High

The control module detects that the electrical current (amperage) being drawn by the cab pressurizer blower motor exceeds the maximum allowable threshold. This is typically caused by a failing blower motor (worn bearings), a short circuit in the wiring harness, or a severely blocked cabin air filter.

   Inspect the cab fresh air and recirculation filters for severe clogs that restrict airflow (most common/easiest check).

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the pressurizer blower motor for chafed wires shorting to ground, and verify the primary cab ground connection.

   Disconnect the 2-wire connector at the blower motor and test the power supply (Pin A) and ground (Pin B) for proper voltage (11.5V - 12V) with the ignition and fan turned on.

   Perform an amp draw test by powering the motor directly with a fused jumper wire; if it exceeds specifications or immediately blows the fuse, the motor is internally shorted or mechanically binding.

   Prepare machine

   Turn off the ignition and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Access blower motor (Tractors)

   Remove the operator's seat (if required for clearance) and the surrounding interior trim panels. Remove the exterior cabin air filter. Inside the filter housing, locate and remove the retaining screws for the air duct. Inside the cab, remove the cover of the left air duct to expose the blower motor (on some models, the handbrake cable may need to be unhooked to gain sufficient clearance).

   Replace blower motor (Tractors)

   Disconnect the 2-wire electrical connector from the blower motor. Remove the mounting straps or retaining screws holding the motor in place and extract the old motor. Install the new motor, secure the mounts, and reconnect the electrical plug.

   Reassemble (Tractors)

   Reinstall all air ducts, trim panels, filters, and the seat.

   Access blower motor (Combines / Harvesters)

   Locate the pressurizer fan behind the buddy seat / instructor seat near the cab door. Remove the interior filter tray behind the buddy seat. Remove the access panels to reach the blower motor assembly.

   Replace blower motor (Combines / Harvesters)

   Disconnect the wiring, unbolt the motor, and replace it with the new unit.

   Reassemble (Combines / Harvesters)

   Reassemble the panels and filter tray.

   Test system

   Reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and test the HVAC system to ensure the fault code clears and the cab pressurizes properly.
