   Perform Calibration

   Using the tractor's CommandCenter or a John Deere Service ADVISOR tool, initiate the Rear Hitch Calibration procedure. Follow the on-screen prompts precisely (ensuring the implement is removed, engine RPM is set correctly, and oil is warm).

   Verify Valve Functionality

   If the calibration fails, use a multimeter to test the resistance and voltage at the Rear Hitch Raise Valve solenoid to ensure it is receiving the correct current from the HCU.

   Repair Wiring

   If voltage is out of range or a short/open circuit is found, repair the damaged wiring harness between the HCU and the hitch valve.

   Replace the Valve

   If the wiring is intact but the valve fails to hold pressure or respond to the HCU's current commands, replace the Rear Hitch Raise Valve / Electro-Hydraulic Proportion Valve.
