   Verify the voltage supply to the rear hitch lower valve/stepper motor to check for voltage and current anomalies.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the HCC and the rear hitch control valve for shorts to ground, open circuits, or damaged pins (Wire Connector Fault).

   Test the resistance of the stepper motor or valve solenoid to determine if the internal coil has failed, causing the low voltage reading.

   Resolve Wiring Issues

   Repair or replace any damaged sections of the wiring harness or connectors leading to the rear hitch control valve.

   Replace the Valve/Motor

   If the wiring and module output are verified to be good, replace the faulty Rear Hitch Control Valve or the Stepper Motor for the Hitch.

   Perform Calibration

   After replacing the valve or repairing the circuit, you must perform a hitch calibration.
