The system has detected a circuit conflict where the "ON" contact and "OFF" contact are showing the same value for the CommandQuad range switch BCDE. This typically means the switch is physically stuck, shorted, or there is a wiring fault. When this code is active, the system will automatically command the transmission into PARK (PARK Position Recoverable).

   Check the CommandQuad range buttons (B, C, D, E) on the armrest console for being physically stuck down due to dirt, debris, or a sticky substance.

   Attempt a system recovery by manually setting the switch to the unpressed (neutral) position and cycling the tractor's ignition.

   Use a multimeter to test the switch contacts; the ON and OFF contacts should not show the same value.

   If the BCDE range switch is physically sticking, use an electronics-safe contact cleaner and compressed air to clear out any debris around the edges of the buttons. Work the buttons up and down to ensure they move freely and spring back to the unpressed position.

   If cleaning does not resolve the issue, remove the retaining screws for the armrest control panel (torque specs for AIC bracket screws are typically around 3 N·m / 27 lb.-in. on larger models) to access the underside of the switches.

   Disconnect the wiring harness from the CommandQuad range switch module. Inspect the pins for corrosion or damage. Reconnect securely.

   Replace the Switch/Module

   If the switch is internally shorted (confirmed via multimeter) or the code persists after cleaning and checking connections, the CommandQuad range switch module (or the integrated AIC module, depending on the specific tractor's armrest configuration) must be replaced.

   Install the new module, secure the armrest panel, reconnect the battery, and start the tractor. Verify that the transmission can shift through the ranges without throwing the 521128.02 code.
