Issue description
The control software detects that the signal voltage from the reverse clutch/brake oil pressure sensor is too low (indicating a potential open circuit or short to ground), or when there is no actual oil pressure at the reverse brake even though oil pressure was commanded by the controller. This points to an electrical issue with the sensor/wiring, a problem in the reverse brake oil circuit, or a faulty proportional solenoid valve.

Check the cause
Check transmission oil level to verify it is correct and ensure the oil filter is not restricted
Inspect the wiring harness and connections leading to the reverse clutch pressure sensor for chafed wires, open circuits, or a short to ground. Ensure the connector is securely seated and free of corrosion.
Test the reference voltage and signal voltage at the reverse clutch pressure sensor using a multimeter
Test the reverse clutch proportional solenoid valve to ensure it is actuating properly and not stuck closed
Verify that the transmission oil pump is operating correctly and providing sufficient baseline hydraulic pressure to the circuit
Repair steps
Relieve Pressure
Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine, and safely relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system.
Repair Wiring (If Applicable)
If the diagnostic checks revealed a short or break in the sensor harness, repair the damaged wiring or replace the pigtail connector.
Replace the Pressure Sensor
If the wiring is intact but the sensor failed electrical testing, locate the reverse clutch pressure sensor on the transmission housing. Disconnect the electrical connector, unthread the faulty sensor, and install the new OEM sensor. Torque to the manufacturer's specification and reconnect the harness.
Replace the Solenoid Valve (If Applicable)
If the sensor is reading correctly but there is genuinely no pressure reaching the clutch, remove and replace the faulty reverse clutch proportional solenoid valve.
Reassemble and Test
Top off any lost transmission fluid. Clear the stored fault codes via the tractor's diagnostic display or Service ADVISOR tool. Start the engine and shift into reverse to verify that the clutch engages smoothly and the code does not return.
