John Deere 521469.14 – SCO / SCC: SCV XV Actuator Not Receiving SCO Message

   Cycle Power: Turn the tractor off and cycle the key switch to see if the communication fault is a temporary glitch that resets.

   Check for Related Codes: Look for other voltage or temperature codes related to SCV XV (such as 521471.18 for low voltage/temperature or 521473.00 for high voltage) which would indicate a broader electrical supply issue rather than a pure CAN failure.

   Inspect Wiring and Connectors: Check the CAN bus wiring harness between the SCO/SCC controller and the SCV XV actuator. Look for chafed wires, pinched harnesses, or corrosion inside the actuator's electrical connector.

   Verify Power and Ground: Ensure the SCV XV actuator is receiving proper unswitched power, switched power, and ground. If the actuator has no power, it cannot communicate on the CAN bus.

   Relieve Pressure

   Shut off the engine, lower all implements to the ground, and relieve hydraulic pressure in the system.

   Locate the rear SCV stack and identify the valve slice corresponding to SCV XV (15).
