   Visual Inspection: Inspect the Rear Hitch Load Depth Encoder and its mechanical linkage for physical damage, binding, or debris buildup that could cause erratic readings.

   Wiring and Connector Check: Inspect the wiring harness between the Load Depth Encoder and the HCC. Look for chafed wires, moisture in the connectors, or bent/corroded pins.

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.
