Issue description

The system has detected an abnormally high electrical current (high amps) at the pin for the left grab rail/cab frame worklight when the lights are turned on. This condition is typically caused by a shorted bulb, an incorrect bulb with a higher wattage than specified, or a short circuit to ground (earth) in the wiring harness.

Check the cause

Repair steps

  1. Power Down

    Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and turn off the battery disconnect switch to prevent electrical spikes.

  2. Access the Light

    Locate the left worklight mounted on the cab frame/grab rail.

  3. Inspect/Replace the Bulb

    Open the worklight housing. If the bulb is blackened, shattered, or the internal filament is shorted across the posts, replace the bulb. Ensure the replacement bulb matches the exact OEM wattage (do not install a higher wattage aftermarket bulb, as this will trigger the high amp code).
