   Inspect the wiring connections at the front roof middle right work light for corroded connectors, which can cause abnormal amp draws.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading from the RLC module to the roof light for chafing, pinched wires, or exposed copper that could be shorting to the cab frame.

   Disconnect the work light to test the assembly. If the code changes from High Amps (.06) to Low Amps/Open Circuit (.05), the short is internal to the light assembly itself.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and remove the key to ensure no power is flowing to the RLC module.

   Access the Roof Light

   Safely access the front roof lighting array. Locate the middle right work light.

   Clean and Reconnect (If Corroded)

   If the connector shows green corrosion, apply electrical contact cleaner. Reconnect and test the light.

   Replace the Light (If Shorted)

   If the light assembly is internally shorted, unbolt the housing, disconnect the pigtail, and install the replacement LED or halogen unit.

   Clear the Code

   Turn the key switch on. Many RLC codes will clear automatically after a power cycle if the proper current draw is restored. If it remains stored, use the CommandCenter display (Diagnostic Addresses section) to clear the inactive code.
