John Deere 521557.05 – RLC: Front Inner Roof Flood Light Right Current Low

The system has detected that the electrical current draw on the front inner right roof work light circuit is too low. This typically indicates an open circuit, which is most commonly caused by a blown bulb, a disconnected plug, or a broken wire in the harness.

   Cycle Power: Turn off the tractor and cycle the key switch to see if the code clears on the CommandCenter™ display.

   Visual Bulb Check: Inspect the front inner right roof work light bulb to see if it is burnt out or physically damaged.

   Wiring & Connector Inspection: Check the wiring harness and the connector leading to the front inner right roof light for any visible damage, corrosion, or loose pins.

   Turn off tractor

   Turn off the tractor engine and remove the key to ensure no power is flowing to the RLC module.

   Access light assembly

   Access the front inner right roof flood light assembly on the exterior cab roof.

   Inspect wiring and connector

   Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the light assembly. Inspect the connector terminals for corrosion or pushed-out pins. Clean or repair the connector if necessary.

   Remove faulty light or bulb

   If the wiring and connector are in good condition, the issue is likely a blown bulb or a failed internal LED driver (if equipped with LED lights). Remove the faulty light assembly or bulb.

   Install replacement

   Install the replacement bulb or LED work light assembly.

   Reconnect wiring

   Reconnect the wiring harness securely.

   Verify illumination

   Turn the key switch on and activate the work lights to verify the front inner right light illuminates.

   Check display

   Check the CommandCenter™ display to ensure fault code 521557.05 has cleared.
