John Deere 521927.07 – RPM: Range B Fault

The control software has detected that, after multiple automated attempts, the transmission cannot physically engage Range B. This typically indicates a mechanical or hydraulic problem within the transmission. As a safety and preservation measure, the control software disables the affected range until the next time the tractor is started.

   Restart the tractor to reset the control software and attempt to engage the range again to rule out a temporary software or engagement glitch.

   Ensure the Range B solenoid is receiving stable power and functioning correctly. Check the solenoid wiring harness for damage, shorts, or open circuits.

   Inspect the hydraulic system that controls the range engagement. Look for pressure drops, leaks, or sticking valves that would prevent the hydraulic pressure from physically moving the gear.
