John Deere 522565.08 – CSM (Cab Switch Module): Switch module button stuck

The system has detected that the Transport SCV (Selective Control Valve) Lock Button is continuously engaged, physically jammed, or its internal microswitch has shorted closed.

   Cycle the ignition by turning the key switch off, waiting a few moments, and turning it back on to see if the code clears

   Examine the Transport SCV Lock Button on the CommandARM console for dirt, debris, spilled liquids, or physical damage causing it to bind

   Check the CommandCenter display for any additional on-screen solutions or related codes that might indicate a broader wiring harness issue

   Clean the Button Area

   If the button is physically sticking due to debris or sticky residue, carefully clean the edges of the button using a plastic-safe electrical contact cleaner or a lightly damp cloth. Gently press and release the button multiple times to free it.

   Retest

   Cycle the tractor's power to see if the fault code clears after cleaning.

   Module Replacement/Repair

   If the button remains permanently stuck or the internal microswitch has failed, the Cab Switch Module (CSM) must be repaired or replaced. Disconnect the machine's battery, remove the trim panels and retaining screws on the CommandARM console to access the CSM, disconnect the electrical wiring harness, and remove the faulty module. Install the new module, reconnect the harness, reassemble the armrest, reconnect the battery, and turn on the ignition to verify the code is resolved.
