John Deere 522568.02 – CSM (Cab Switch Module): Armrest Navigation Bar Fault

Fault in the circuit of button 15 on the navigation bar (Headland/iTEC button).

   Press and release the affected button (Button 15 / iTEC button) to see if the system can recover the circuit.

   Turn the ignition switch off, wait a moment, and turn it back on to reboot the Cab Switch Module.

   Check the wiring harness and connectors between the Armrest Navigation Bar Module and the main CSM for shorts or open circuits.

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect the tractor's battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Disassemble armrest console

   Disassemble the armrest console to access the Armrest Navigation Bar Module (identified in the service manual as component A048).

   Inspect button and circuit board

   Inspect the physical button mechanism and the underlying circuit board for liquid intrusion, debris, or physical damage.

   Replace or repair module

   If the circuit board is damaged, the module must be replaced or sent out for component-level repair.

   Install module and power on

   Install the new or repaired module, reconnect the harnesses, and power on the tractor.

   Clear codes and test

   Clear the stored CSM codes and test the iTEC/Headland button to ensure the fault does not return.
