John Deere 522570.02 – CSM (Cab Switch Module): Armrest Navigation Bar Fault

   Press and release the affected button (Button 13) on the navigation bar to attempt a system recovery.

   Turn the ignition switch off, wait a moment, and turn it back on to see if the module resets and the code clears.

   Check the W577 Armrest Navigation Bar Module Extension Harness for any pinches, frays, or loose connections.

   Turn off the tractor, ensure the parking brake is engaged, and disconnect the battery.

   Remove the lid/top cover of the CommandARM console.

   This is typically done by removing the securing bolts located at the bottom of the console.

   Carefully lift the top half of the console to expose the internal modules, switches, and wiring harnesses.

   Locate the Armrest Navigation Bar Module (identified in schematics as module A048) and the Cab Switch Module.

   Unplug the wiring harness (W577) connected to the navigation bar module.

   Remove the mounting screws holding the faulty switch/navigation bar module in place.

   Install the replacement module and secure it with the screws.

   Reconnect the wiring harness, ensuring the connector is fully seated and locked.

   Reassemble the armrest console housing and reinstall the bottom bolts.

    Reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and verify that the fault code is cleared and the button functions normally.
