   Press and release the affected button on the navigation bar to attempt a system recovery/reset.

   Turn the ignition switch OFF, wait a few moments, and turn it back ON to see if the code clears.

   Inspect the W577 Armrest Navigation Bar Module Extension Harness for any pinched wires, loose connectors, or corrosion between the navigation bar and the CSM.

   Perform Preliminary Resets

   Attempt the button press and ignition cycle as described in the preliminary checks.

   Examine the Wiring

   Access the underside of the armrest to inspect the W577 extension harness. Disconnect the harness, check for bent pins or debris, and reconnect it securely.

   Test the Module

   If the code remains active, the fault lies within the physical Armrest Navigation Bar Module (identified in schematics as component A048) or the Cab Switch Module (CSM).

   Replace or Repair

   If the button itself is internally shorted or physically broken, the Armrest Navigation Bar Module must be replaced. If the navigation bar tests fine, the CSM may require replacement or specialized board-level repair.

   Dealer Calibration

   Note that replacing the CSM may require dealer programming or calibration to sync with the tractor's main ECU.
