Check the cause
Press and release Button 4 on the navigation bar to attempt to reset and recover the system
Turn the ignition switch off, wait a moment, and turn it back on to see if the code clears
Inspect the W577 Armrest Navigation Bar Module Extension Harness for any pin damage, corrosion, or loose connections
Repair steps
Power down the machine and disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on cab electronics.
Access the armrest console and locate the A048 Armrest Navigation Bar Module.
Disconnect the W577 extension harness and test for continuity between the navigation bar module and the Cab Switch Module (CSM) to rule out a wiring short or open circuit.
If the wiring harness tests good, the fault lies internally within the button contacts of the Armrest Navigation Bar Module or the CSM itself.
Replace the faulty Armrest Navigation Bar Module or the Cab Switch Module (CSM).
Note: Because the CSM is a complex and expensive electronic component, some specialized agricultural electronic repair shops offer component-level repair for the CSM on a time-and-materials basis if a new replacement is unavailable.
Reassemble the armrest, reconnect the battery, and cycle the key to verify the code has cleared.
