John Deere 522580.02 – CSM (Cab Switch Module): Armrest Navigation Bar Fault

Fault in the circuit of Button 1 on the navigation bar (orientation bar).

   Press and release Button 1 on the armrest navigation bar to see if the system can recover and clear the fault

   Perform a power cycle by turning the ignition switch OFF, waiting for the system to power down, and turning the ignition switch back ON to see if the module resets

   Attempt System Recovery

   Press and release the affected "Next Page" / Button 1 on the navigation bar.

   Cycle Ignition

   Turn the tractor's ignition off and back on.

   Inspect Harnesses

   Check the Armrest Navigation Bar Module Extension Harness (W577) for any pin damage, corrosion, or shorts.

   Module Replacement/Repair

   If the fault persists after a power cycle and harness inspection, the internal circuit of the button has failed. The Cab Switch Module (CSM) or the specific Armrest Navigation Bar Module (Component A048) will need to be removed and either sent out for electronic repair or replaced entirely.
