John Deere 522876.19 – BLC: Incorrect CAN BUS Message, Implement Sends Error Message.
Issue description
The tractor's control network is receiving a formatted error message directly from the attached implement via the CAN BUS / ISOBUS network.

Check the cause
Isolate the Fault: Disconnect the implement's ISOBUS/CAN connector from the rear of the tractor. Cycle the tractor's key switch. If the code goes away, the fault is confirmed to be on the implement side or the connection itself.
Implement Diagnostics: Check the implement's proprietary monitor or control unit for its own specific fault codes. The tractor is simply acting as a messenger for the implement's internal fault.
Inspect the Connection: Check the tractor-side ISOBUS breakaway connector and the implement-side plug for dirt, moisture, corrosion, or pushed-back pins, which can corrupt CAN messages.
Harness Check: Inspect the CAN BUS wiring harness running from the implement hitch to the implement's ECU for physical damage (pinched wires, exposed copper).
Repair steps
Clean the Connectors
Use electrical contact cleaner and compressed air to thoroughly clean the ISOBUS/CAN receptacle on the tractor and the plug on the implement.
Address Implement Faults
Diagnose and repair the specific mechanical or electrical fault on the implement (e.g., a failed sensor on a baler or sprayer) that is triggering the implement's ECU to broadcast the error.
Repair Wiring
If the implement's CAN harness is damaged, splice and heat-shrink the damaged CAN-High or CAN-Low wires, or replace the implement's communication harness.
Clear Codes
Reconnect the implement to the tractor, turn the key to the ON position, and use the tractor's CommandCenter or a diagnostic tool to clear the stored BLC codes. Verify the code does not return.
Parts you might need
(3)ISOBUS / CAN BUS Breakaway Receptacle (Tractor Side)
OEM part number varies by exact tractor configuration
Implement CAN Communication Harness
Sourced from the implement manufacturer
BLC Module (Basic Load Center)
Only replace if the module is internally shorted and falsely reporting codes when no implement is attached
