   Inspect Power Supply & Alternator: Test the alternator output voltage with a multimeter while the tractor is running. Ensure the voltage regulator is operating properly and not overcharging the system (output should normally be between 13.5V and 14.5V; anything over 15-16V confirms a failed regulator).

   Examine Wiring and Connections: Inspect the wiring harness between the alternator, battery, and the PTF module. Look for damaged wires, loose connections, or signs of corrosion that could cause a short to power.

   Check Battery Health: Verify the battery's condition and charge level. A severely damaged battery can sometimes cause the alternator to overcompensate, though overvoltage is almost always a regulator failure.
