Issue description
This error is triggered when the control software detects that the supply voltage at the input of the control unit exceeds 16 Volts. This overvoltage condition typically indicates a short circuit within the wiring harness (connecting directly to a higher voltage source) or a malfunctioning alternator/voltage regulator overcharging the electrical system. To protect the system from electrical damage, the control software may restrict or completely disable the module's functionality.

Check the cause

Examine the Wiring Harness: Thoroughly inspect the wiring harness leading to the Front Chassis Module. Look for damaged wires, chafing, loose connections, or signs of corrosion. Pay special attention to any wires that might be shorting directly to a high-voltage source.
Verify Control Unit Functionality: If the voltage at the harness is normal (12V-14V) but the module still reports >16V, the internal circuitry of the Front Chassis Control Unit may be damaged.
