Check the cause

Repair steps

  1. Disconnect power

    Disconnect the tractor's battery before starting the repair to protect the electronic control systems.

  2. Repair wiring

    If a short to ground was found in the harness during diagnostics, repair or replace the damaged wires and connectors on leads 7058 and 7059. Ensure all wiring is correctly insulated and routed away from pinch points.

  3. Replace the motor or valve

    If the wiring is intact but the stepper motor coil is internally shorted, remove the faulty M08 Stepper Motor or Rear Hitch Control Valve assembly and install the replacement part. Ensure electrical connections are clean.
