   Inspect the wheel angle sensor on the front axle for physical damage, wear, or loose mounting hardware, and ensure it is securely connected.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors associated with the wheel angle sensor for signs of damage, corrosion, or loose pins.

   Use a diagnostic tool to test the continuity and integrity of the sensor circuit, looking for open circuits or high resistance points.

   Use John Deere Service ADVISOR or the in-cab diagnostic display to monitor the voltage levels at the sensor output in real-time while turning the steering wheel, ensuring the voltage sweeps smoothly without dropping out.

   Attempt Calibration

   Perform the Wheel Angle Sensor calibration procedure through the tractor's CommandCenter display (under the steering/AutoTrac settings) or via John Deere Service ADVISOR.

   Turn Wheels

   Follow the on-screen prompts, which usually require turning the steering wheel fully to the left lock, then fully to the right lock, and driving straight to establish the center point.

   Replace if Calibration Fails

   If the calibration procedure fails to complete, or if the diagnostic checks revealed erratic voltage or a dead sensor, the sensor must be replaced.

   Recalibrate

   After physically installing a new wheel angle sensor, you must perform the calibration procedure again. The fault code will not clear until a valid calibration is successfully saved.
