   Inspect wiring and connectors associated with lead 7106 (the Y74 solenoid circuit) for signs of a grounded circuit (short to ground), chafing, or melted insulation.

   Use a multimeter or diagnostic tool to measure the current levels at the Y74 solenoid for PTO speed 2 to verify if the current spikes above the 30-amp threshold when activated.

   Test the Y74 solenoid directly to ensure it is operating properly and not internally shorted.

   If the wiring inspection reveals a short to ground in lead 7106, repair or replace the damaged wires or connectors.
