   Verify that the CAN BUS communication lines between the Body Control Unit (BCU) and the Power Module PC5 are intact and transmitting proper voltages.

   Measure the resistance (ohms) across the pins of the Y74 solenoid to ensure it is not internally shorted or open, and compare the reading to OEM specifications.

   Safety First

   Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine, remove the key, and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts.

   Locate the Solenoid

   Locate the Y74 PTO Speed 2 solenoid valve. It is typically mounted on the rear chassis hydraulic PTO valve block assembly.

   Disconnect Electrical Connection

   Unplug the wiring harness connector from the Y74 solenoid.

   Remove the Faulty Solenoid
