Issue description

Check the cause
Visually and physically inspect the wiring harness and connections leading to the PTO speed 1 solenoid for signs of a short, open circuit, or heat damage
Measure current and voltage levels at the PTO speed 1 solenoid using a multimeter to ensure they are within the specified operating range
Actively test the solenoid for proper operation using John Deere Service ADVISOR diagnostic tools
Check if the PAP control software is updated to the latest version to rule out false circuit faults

If the diagnostic checks reveal damaged wires or connectors, repair or replace the affected sections of the wiring harness.
Solenoid Replacement
