Check the cause
Check for accompanying CAN bus communication errors, stepper motor temperature codes (e.g., 523869.00), or low supply voltage codes (e.g., 523869.18). If the SCO module lacks proper voltage or CAN communication, calibration will fail.
Ensure the tractor is stationary, the hydraulic oil is at the proper level, and the fluid is at normal operating temperature.
Ensure the multi-function lever and SCV control levers move freely without physical obstruction.
Repair steps
Connect diagnostic tool
Connect John Deere Service ADVISOR (or a capable aftermarket diagnostic tool like TEXA) to the machine's diagnostic port.
Turn ignition ON
