   Inspect the wiring harness (specifically leads 2028 and 2029) for signs of open circuits, broken wires, or damaged insulation causing a short to ground.

   Use a multimeter to measure the current flow at the motor leads to verify if the high amperage is caused by the motor itself or a short in the wiring.

   Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic tests reveal a short to ground or damaged insulation in the harness, repair or replace the affected wiring and ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

   Replace the Motor

   If the wiring is intact but the B132 adjusting motor is internally shorted or drawing excessive current, remove the upper retaining plates/housing and replace the motor.
