Issue description

The control system is detecting a voltage on the circuit for the #4 Electronic Selective Control Valve (E-SCV) stepper motor that exceeds the expected maximum threshold. Check the cause

  1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower all implements to the ground, turn off the engine, remove the key, and relieve all hydraulic pressure

  2. Locate the E-SCV 4 stepper motor (A39) on the rear hydraulic valve stack, disconnect the electrical connector, and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or bent terminals

  3. Using a multimeter, perform a circuit test on the wiring harness running from the E-SCV 4 connector back to the Rear Chassis Module (SCC) to check for a short to power on the supply voltage lines

  4. If the wiring harness tests within normal parameters and shows no shorts or damage, the fault is isolated to an internal failure of the E-SCV 4 stepper motor itself
