   Power Cycle: Turn the key switch OFF, wait a few moments, and cycle it back ON to see if the module resets successfully.

   Visual Inspection: Inspect the area around the batteries and the alternator for any signs of physical damage, loose connections, or accumulated debris that could cause voltage spikes or drops.

   Fuse Check: Check the specific power supply fuses for the SCO module (often designated as Fuse F29 or F24, depending on your exact model's fuse block layout).

   Harness Inspection: Verify that the wiring harness and connectors plugging into the Front Chassis Module are secure, clean, and free of corrosion.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the negative battery terminal.

   Remove the Faulty Module

   Locate the Front Chassis Module (SCO), disconnect its wiring harnesses, and unbolt it from the chassis mounting bracket.

   Mount the new SCO module and securely reconnect the wiring harnesses.

   Have a certified John Deere dealer connect their Service ADVISOR tool to flash the module with the correct software for your tractor's specific options and perform a system calibration.
