Check the cause
Perform a system reset by placing the tractor in park, shutting off the engine, and restarting it to see if communication messages reset.
Inspect the wiring harness leading to the SCV I control lever switch inside the armrest for pinched wires, electrical shorts, or damaged insulation.
Ensure the electrical connector to the SCV I sensor is not loose and check the terminals for corrosion.
Repair steps
Temporary Bypass
If you need to finish a task immediately, go to the CommandARM display and disable the single lever control for SCV I.
Access the Armrest Console
Power down the tractor. Remove the fastening bolts located on the bottom of the CommandARM console.
Lift the Console Lid
Carefully lift the top half of the armrest console to expose the internal switches and wiring.
Remove the Faulty Switch
Locate the SCV I switch assembly. Remove the mounting screws and unplug the wiring harness from the switch.
Install the New Part
Plug the harness into the new SCV I control lever switch, seat it into the console, and secure it with the screws.
Reassemble and Test
Bolt the armrest console back together, start the tractor, and verify that the 523923.03 code has cleared and the SCV operates normally.
