John Deere 523973.02 – CSC (Comfort System Controller / Cab Suspension Control): Cab Position Out of Valid Range During Calibration
Issue description
The control software detects that the cab suspension sensor's mid-position voltage is outside the valid range of 2 to 3 volts during the calibration or bleeding process, indicating incorrect readings and forcing the system to abort calibration.

Check the cause
Check for other CSC codes related to the cab suspension position sensor and resolve those issues first.
Inspect the wiring harness and connections to the cab suspension sensor for any signs of damage, looseness, or disconnection. Pay special attention to the wiring just behind the connector, as the 5-volt supply wire is known to break here.
Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the cab suspension sensor. Verify that the signal voltage falls within the required 2 to 3 volt range when the cab is in its mid-position.

Repair Wiring
If the 5-volt wire or any other part of the harness is broken or damaged near the connector, repair the wiring to restore proper voltage.
Replace the Sensor
If the wiring is intact but the sensor voltage remains outside the 2 to 3 volt range during testing, the sensor is defective. Unplug the old sensor, remove it from its mounting bracket, and install the new plug-and-play sensor.
Recalibrate the System
After repairing the wiring or replacing the sensor, perform a full recalibration (bleeding and calibrating) of the cab suspension system to ensure the CSC receives accurate sensor data and sets the correct center position.
