Issue description
The control unit is detecting a signal voltage from the TLS Axle Position Sensor (B53) that is below the acceptable threshold (indicating a short to ground, an open circuit, or a failed sensor). When this code is active, the front axle may fail to level properly, resulting in a rough ride, jerky suspension movements, or a complete lockout of the suspension's auto/manual functions.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness and connectors going to the B53 TLS position sensor for chafed wires, loose pins, or corrosion that could cause an open circuit or short to ground.
Verify that the 5-volt reference power supply from the control unit is reaching the TLS sensor.
Monitor the signal voltage output of the sensor. During normal operation and calibration, the level position voltage should read between 2 and 3 volts.
Ensure the suspension travel is not physically blocked by heavy mud or debris under the suspension pads, which can cause erratic readings or prevent the axle from reaching its target position.

Safely Support the Machine
Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and ensure the front axle is safely supported if you need to work underneath it.
Locate the B53 Sensor
Find the TLS position sensor mounted on the front axle suspension linkage.
Disconnect and Clean
Disconnect the sensor's electrical harness. Clean the connector with electrical contact cleaner and inspect for moisture or pin damage. If the wiring is damaged, repair the harness.
Replace the Sensor
If the wiring and 5V supply are good but the sensor output is still low/dead, unbolt the faulty B53 position sensor and install the replacement part.
Calibrate the TLS System
After installing a new sensor, you must perform a TLS calibration procedure using the tractor's command center or a diagnostic tool. The calibration ensures the control unit learns the new sensor's voltage range (targeting 2 to 3 volts at the level position).
Clear Codes
Clear the 523976.04 fault code from the TSC/SFA module and test drive the tractor to ensure the suspension levels smoothly without jerking.
