   Inspect the Y1 proportional solenoid valve circuit for any short to ground, open connections, or breaks in the wiring harness.

   Using a multimeter, measure the resistance and current flow to the solenoid valve. The control unit expects a specific resistance that corresponds with the commanded operating status of the hydrostatic unit.

   Inspect all wiring and connectors associated with the Y1 solenoid valve for signs of damage, corrosion, or disconnection.

   Verify that the solenoid valve circuit is properly grounded and correct any grounding issues that may be causing the voltage drop.

   Access the Hydrostatic Unit

   Locate the proportional solenoid valves on the IVT hydrostatic unit. Identify Valve 1 (Y1).

   Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a short to ground or damaged wiring/connectors in the harness leading to Y1, repair or replace the damaged sections to ensure proper electrical connections.

   Replace the Solenoid Valve

   If the wiring is intact but the Y1 solenoid valve fails the multimeter resistance/current test (i.e., it is not drawing the correct current or has an internal short), remove the defective solenoid valve.
