   Check the sensor supply voltage from the control unit to ensure the switch is receiving proper power, and inspect relevant system fuses (e.g., F22 or F24 depending on the model).

   Preparation

   Park the machine on a level surface, engage the park brake, turn off the engine, and remove the key.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the right brake pedal switch/sensor. Depending on the tractor model, this will either be a mechanical position switch located directly under the dash/brake pedal linkage, or a pressure switch located on the brake hydraulic line.

   Relieve Pressure

   If the tractor utilizes a hydraulic pressure switch for the brake pedal, pump the brakes a few times with the engine off to relieve hydraulic pressure. Have a catch pan ready for minor fluid loss.
