John Deere 524165.19 – PTA, CSC, TCU: Incorrect CAN Bus Message, Clutch

The control unit is not able to determine the clutch torque limit (DCTL) because the signal from the clutch potentiometer is incorrect or missing. Because the controller cannot determine the clutch torque, it cannot provide the CAN BUS with the relevant data, which results in limited or no function of the control software.

   Diagnose any active PTI, PTP, or PTQ codes first, as they may point to the underlying issue

   Ensure the control software is up-to-date. You must perform the necessary clutch calibrations via the tractor's command center or diagnostic tool to ensure accurate signal processing for the new sensor.
