John Deere 524172.19 – TCU: Incorrect CAN BUS Message, Clutch Pedal Information from UIC

This diagnostic trouble code is generated when the UIC (User Interface Control) unit is unable to determine the status of the clutch pedal switch. The clutch pedal position value is obtained via the clutch pedal potentiometer (designated as component B65). Because the UIC cannot read this value, it cannot broadcast the required clutch pedal information over the CAN BUS to the Transmission Control Unit (TCU).

   Inspect the physical clutch pedal to ensure it is properly adjusted according to manufacturer specifications, as a lightly applied or misadjusted pedal can cause constant voltage errors.

   Verify potentiometer signals by using a diagnostic multimeter to measure the voltages at the B65 potentiometer. The voltage at Channel 1 (lead 6114) must be exactly double the voltage at Channel 2 (lead 6007).

   Inspect the wiring harness, specifically leads 6114 and 6007, and all connectors related to the clutch pedal potentiometer for signs of damage, loose pins, or corrosion.
