Check the cause
Restart the tractor and the control software to see if the internal timing issue was a temporary processing glitch that resolves upon a reboot.
Ensure all wiring harness connections to the Cab Module (TIA) or Transmission Control Unit (UIC) are secure, clean, and free of physical damage or corrosion.
Check if there are any pending software updates or patches available for the module.
Repair steps
Perform a Hard Reset
Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to perform a hard reset of the electrical system, forcing the control software to completely restart.
Wiring Repair
If any damaged wiring or loose pins were found during the diagnostic inspection of the module's harness, repair or replace the faulty connections.
Software Flash/Update
Connect the John Deere Service ADVISOR diagnostic tool. Check the current software version of the Cab Module (TIA) or UIC. Flash the module with the latest software update from John Deere, as regular updates are specifically released to prevent these internal timing faults.
Module Replacement
If the software is up-to-date, the wiring is intact, and the code persists after a restart, the module itself has suffered an internal hardware failure. Consult John Deere technical support to replace and program a new control module.
