   Inspect Solenoid Valve Wiring: Visually inspect the wiring loom and connections running to the rear PTO solenoid valve for chafing, melted insulation, corrosion, or shorting to the chassis, especially near the rear axle housing.

   Test Current Levels & Power: Use a multimeter or diagnostic tools to measure the current levels at the connecting leads of the rear PTO solenoid valve to verify if it is drawing excessive current.

   Verify Solenoid Operation: Test the solenoid independently to see if it operates properly or if it has failed internally, causing the high amperage draw.

   Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks reveal damaged wires or corroded connectors, repair or replace the affected sections of the wiring harness. Ensure all connections are tight and free of moisture.

   If the wiring is intact but the solenoid is drawing excessive current or has failed mechanically, remove and replace the rear PTO solenoid valve. Clean the mounting area thoroughly before installing the new valve to prevent hydraulic contamination.
