Issue description

Check the cause
Visually inspect all CAN BUS network wiring, harnesses, and connectors for signs of damage, corrosion, looseness, or moisture intrusion.
Use a multimeter to check the CAN BUS termination resistors (a healthy J1939 network should have two terminating resistors maintaining proper resistance).
Check for voltage stability and ensure all modules have clean, secure grounds to rule out electrical interference.
Systematically isolate modules by disconnecting terminators, transceivers, and ECUs one by one to see if a specific malfunctioning module is crashing the bus.
Use John Deere Service Advisor or an oscilloscope to monitor CAN BUS traffic for signal degradation, excessive errors, or proprietary message disruptions.

If looseness or corrosion is found during diagnostics, clean the pins and secure the connectors to restore reliable communication.
Repair Wiring
Repair or replace any damaged, chafed, or broken sections of the CAN BUS wiring harness. Ensure proper harness protection and connector sealing are applied.

If the network resistance is out of specification (indicating a missing or burnt resistor), locate and replace the faulty CAN Bus terminating resistor.
