Check the cause

  1. Inspect injection valve 1 for any physical blockages or debris that might restrict fuel flow.

  2. Ensure adequate fuel supply to the injector and check for restrictions, air leaks, or blockages in the fuel lines.

  3. Inspect the injector harness for frayed wires, corrosion, or loose pins, and perform a continuity test to rule out circuit issues.

  4. Test the injector's electronic operation using John Deere Service Advisor or a compatible diagnostic tool.

  5. Verify that the ECU software is up-to-date to rule out misdiagnosis and nuisance DTCs.

Repair steps

  1. Replace the Faulty Injector

Remove the defective cylinder #1 fuel injector and install a new or remanufactured OEM replacement to restore proper fuel flow.

  2. Recalibrate the Injector (QR Code)

Use the QR code printed on the new injector to recalibrate it into the ECU using appropriate diagnostic tools to prevent calibration faults.

  3. Reset the ECU

Clear the fault codes from the Engine Control Unit.

  4. Conduct System Tests

Run the engine and perform system tests to ensure the new injector operates correctly, fuel flow is restored, and no further errors are detected.
