   Verify that the correct injector is physically installed in cylinder #5.

   Program calibration code

   If the injector was recently replaced, the new injector's specific calibration code (QR code data) must be programmed into the ECU.

   Connect diagnostic tool

   Connect the John Deere Service ADVISOR diagnostic tool to the machine's diagnostic port.

   Input calibration data

   Navigate to the ECU programming/calibration section and input the correct part number/calibration data for Injector #5.

   If the injector is incorrect for the engine or has failed internally causing data corruption, remove and replace the electronic fuel injector, then program the new injector's data into the ECU.
