John Deere 84.07 – PTR, PTP, PTQ, or EPC: Main Control Module Has Noted A Wheel Speed During A Transmission Calibration

During a transmission calibration procedure, the vehicle must remain completely stationary.    Ensure the tractor is completely stopped on level ground.

   Apply the parking brake securely to ensure absolutely no vehicle motion.

   This prevents any accidental movement during calibration.

   Restart the transmission calibration procedure via the dash or diagnostic tool.

   Attempt the calibration again while ensuring the vehicle is stationary.

   If the calibration completes successfully, the code was simply triggered by accidental movement and can be cleared.

   Clear the code if no further issues arise.

   If the code returns immediately while the tractor is stationary, the wheel speed sensor is likely sending a false signal (or the CAN BUS message is incorrect).

   Proceed to test the sensor if the code persists.

   Check the sensor's electrical properties to verify its functionality.
