John Deere 84.15 – CSC (Cab Suspension Control): Wheel Speed Noted During A Calibration
Issue description
The control unit detected that the tractor was moving (receiving a wheel speed signal) while a calibration routine was being performed. Calibrations require the tractor to be completely stationary, and if movement is detected, the calibration is immediately aborted.

Check the cause
Verify Operator Procedure: Confirm whether the tractor was actually moving or if the operator shifted gears while the calibration was running.
Check Sensor Signals: Access the tractor's diagnostic menu via the CommandCenter and monitor the wheel speed sensor data while the tractor is parked. If the sensor shows a speed value greater than zero while the tractor is completely stationary, the sensor or its wiring is faulty.
Inspect Wiring: Check the wiring harness and connectors leading to the wheel speed sensor for corrosion, moisture, or chafing that could cause a false signal.
Repair steps
Stop tractor
Bring the tractor to a complete stop.
Reset control module
Turn the ignition switch OFF, wait a few moments, and turn it back ON to reset the control module and clear the active diagnostic trouble code.
Secure tractor
Ensure the tractor remains completely stationary and the parking brake is engaged.
Restart calibration
Restart the cab suspension (or front axle) calibration procedure via the CommandCenter display.
Replace sensor
If the code immediately returns while the tractor is definitively stopped, replace the faulty wheel speed sensor that is falsely reporting movement.
