This code indicates that the engine's crankshaft is rotating faster than the manufacturer's maximum safe rotational limit (the redline).    Read freeze frame data with a diagnostic scanner to view the exact RPM recorded; physically impossible RPMs indicate an electrical sensor glitch rather than a mechanical overspeed.

   Visually inspect the wiring harness and connectors for the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) and Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) for corrosion, chafed wires, or loose pins.
