Check the cause
Verify the tractor's operating hours on the Advanced Dashboard/SIS against the Operation & Maintenance Manual to confirm which service interval has been reached (e.g., engine oil, transmission fluid, or filters).
Check if the maintenance alarm is actively displaying on the Dash. If physical maintenance was recently performed but the code is still active, the counter was likely not reset.
Connect a commercial agricultural diagnostic tool (such as Jaltest AGV) to verify if the ECU is allowing the maintenance counter to be cleared or if there is a deeper Dash configuration error.
Repair steps
Perform Required Maintenance
Complete the physical maintenance required by the service schedule (e.g., replacing the engine oil and filter). Run the engine to operating temperature, stop the engine, and replace the necessary fluids/filters.
Access the Reset Function
The fault code will not clear simply by erasing memory codes; the specific maintenance counter must be reset.
Perform Maintenance Reset
Via Diagnostic Tool: Connect a compatible diagnostic tool (like Jaltest) to the tractor's diagnostic port. Navigate to the Dash/Instrument Cluster module and select the 'Reset' function for the control unit maintenance counters. Via Dash/SIS: Alternatively, navigate through the tractor's System Information Screen (SIS) on the right-hand console to the service intervals menu to restore or reset the factory maintenance defaults.
Verify Clearance
Cycle the tractor's ignition. Confirm that the maintenance warning message is canceled and fault code 0.1.43 is no longer active.
