Massey Ferguson 00.0.34 – Dash: Issue With Signal Voltage From Foot Throttle Sensor

The controller is receiving an electrical signal from the foot throttle potentiometer that falls outside the expected normal operating range (typically reading either too high, such as above 4.5V, or too low, such as below 0.5V). This condition usually points to a failed sensor, a damaged wiring harness (open circuit or short to ground/power), or a disconnected plug. When this code is active, the tractor may default to a limited RPM mode or refuse to respond to foot throttle inputs.

   Signal Sweep Test: Back-probe the signal wire and slowly depress the foot throttle. The voltage should transition smoothly (usually between 0.5V and 4.5V). If the voltage drops out, spikes erratically, or reads a constant 0V/5V, the potentiometer has failed internally.
