Massey Ferguson 00.0.3B – Dash: Issue With The Signal Voltage From Forward/Reverse Lever Signal Voltage High (Dash).

The system is detecting that the electrical signal coming from the Forward/Reverse Lever (often called the Power Shuttle lever) is exceeding the maximum expected voltage threshold. In 5-volt reference sensor circuits, a "Voltage High" condition typically indicates an open ground circuit, a broken signal wire (if the module uses a pull-up resistor), a short to battery power, or an internal failure of the lever's switch/potentiometer.

   Visually inspect the wiring pigtail coming from the Forward/Reverse lever for chafed wires or a disconnected plug.

   Check the ground circuit by back-probing the ground pin at the lever's connector and verifying continuity to the chassis ground (loss of ground is a common cause for voltage high).

   Check for a short to power by disconnecting the lever, turning the key ON, and checking the signal wire going back to the Dash module. If it reads 12V, the wire is shorted to power.

   Test the switch internally. If the wiring harness (power, ground, and signal continuity) tests good, the internal contacts or sensor track inside the lever assembly have failed.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical spikes to the Dash module.

   Access the Lever

   Remove the plastic trim/cowling surrounding the steering column to expose the base of the Forward/Reverse lever.

   Disconnect Wiring

   Unplug the electrical connector linking the shuttle lever to the main dash harness.

   Remove the Lever

   Remove the mounting screws or retaining bolts holding the lever assembly to the steering column bracket.

   Install the New Part

   Mount the replacement Forward/Reverse lever into position and secure the fasteners.

   Reassembly

   Reconnect the electrical plug, ensuring the locking tab clicks into place. Reinstall the steering column cowling.

   Clear Codes and Test

   Reconnect the battery, turn the ignition ON, and use a diagnostic tool (or the dash menu, if equipped) to clear the 00.0.3B inactive code. Start the tractor and verify that forward, neutral, and reverse engage smoothly without throwing a code.
