   Check for Accompanying Codes: Look for other CAN BUS codes (e.g., 00.0.70 missing linkage info, or 00.0.71 missing engine info). If multiple modules are missing, the entire CAN network may be down.

   Verify TCM Power and Ground: If the Transmission Control Module loses power or ground, it will shut down and stop broadcasting messages to the Dash. Check the fuses and relays powering the transmission module.

   Inspect the CAN BUS Wiring: Check the twisted-pair CAN wiring between the Dash and the TCM for rub marks, pinched wires, or shorts to ground.

   Check Connectors: Inspect the wiring harness connectors at both the Dash Module and the Transmission Module for water ingress, corrosion, or backed-out pins.

   Disconnect Power

   Disconnect the negative battery cable before servicing any CAN BUS electrical components to prevent short circuits.

   Disconnect the main harness at the Transmission Module and the Dash Module. Spray the contacts with electrical contact cleaner, ensure no pins are bent, and firmly reseat the connectors.
